Questions
Before you start
Can I legally officiate a wedding?
It depends on the state, and sometimes on the county. In many places a friend or relative can officiate after an online ordination or a one-day designation, but the rules differ. Ask the county clerk who issues the couple's marriage license what they require of you. We don't give legal advice or ordain anyone.
How long is the ceremony?
You choose 10 or 20 minutes, from your welcome to the walk out. Every section of the script shows when it starts, so you can tell at a glance if you're running long.
Does it work for religious and interfaith ceremonies?
Yes. Choose religious or interfaith and name the tradition, or more than one. The script draws on it respectfully and in plain words; it isn't an official liturgy. Secular and spiritual ceremonies keep religious language out.
Which readings can we use?
Name any reading you like, or let us suggest a classic from the public domain, such as Shakespeare's Sonnet 116. The script introduces each reading and its reader; the reader brings the text.
How is the kit written?
You give us the story and make the choices. Our writing software drafts the ceremony from your answers using an AI model, checks the script against everything you told us, and lays out every document for print. You review it and can correct names, dates and typos at any time.
What exactly do I receive?
With Complete, five print-ready PDFs: the ceremony script in large print, a one-page run sheet, rehearsal notes, vow prompts for each of the couple and the program. Signature adds a second script in another tone, an original reading written from their story (with a short tribute if you're remembering someone) and two rewrite rounds. You can download everything for 30 days.
Can we change things?
Before you pay, you can edit your answers and see a new preview. After delivery you can correct names, the date and place, pronunciations and typos, free, and print again. With Signature you can also ask, in your own words, for two rewrites of the script.
What happens to the details I share?
They're used only to write your kit. If you don't buy, your answers and preview are deleted after 7 days. A kit you buy stays available for 30 days and is then deleted. We never sell your information.
What if the kit doesn't work for our ceremony?
Ask within 14 days for a full refund. You don't need to explain why.
